One week after the inauguration of the edition number 22 of the Dominican Summer league, we think that the first team of the Athletic ones of Oakland is perfect in all his meetings.

In these seven games, in the Academy Juan Marichal they have playing four and in the route three, leaving behind the Mariners with 5-2 to two games, following  behind the Phillies (4), Cardinals (5) and Athletic 2 (6.5).

Oakland 1 counts in his roster for the  summer a whole of seven Venezuelans and a Haitian:

The catcher Carmelo Peñaloza, in his third year in the league and Gernaldo Castillo player of the picture, in his second, both of Barquisimeto, Lara  State , whereas Keyter Rodríguez, in his  third year comes from Caracas.

 The pitcher Jorge Arrioja, of the second year, comes from Guarico, whereas Alvaro Romero and Juan Villegas, both of the third year together with Jose Oliveros, in his first, are from Valencia. The infieder Franklyn Toussaint, is of Quanaminthe, Haiti.

 This team is commanded by Luís Martínez accompanied by Oscar Spencer, Henry Corniel in pitcheo, Mario Clime, trainner and Juan Diloné, as field coordinator. All under the reins of Raymond Abreu, the director and principal scout of Oakland in the country.

The pitcher Melkin Laureano earned two of seven games of the A's 1, with six punches in 7.1 income, with a hit. Against the A's on June 2 three, inaugural day, in 4.1 income, allowed a hit, with four punches and on June, nine against the Cardinals in three income, gave two bases and two strike outs.

Laureano, 21,  is in his  third year in the circuit, in 2005 ihe played for the A's 2, after two years he has mark of 2-2 with 2.57 of efficiency in 19 games, there are strikeout thirty in 42 innings , with 12 careers, two home runs and 28 hits allowed.

And with the log, Abraham De León (.381) in these seven days batting  of 21-8, with seven annotated ones, a double, three RBI, seven bases for balls, three strike out and a theft.

 In this first week the team that more exists batting  has been that of the Angels of El Peón, in San's Pedro Division of Macorís with .315 of average of batting  globally.

 Batting  of 260-82, with 58 annotated ones, 27 walks, 68 strike outs, and 15 thefts, but those of better pitching  were the Mariners, of the North of Santo Domingo, with mark of 5-2 and 2.27 of efficiency.

They allowed 58 hits, with the whitened one, two home runs, 35 passports and 64 strikeots

Six batters keeping squall of games continued with hit, or, that exist it shot for area of nobody in all the games of this first week.

 Lendy Castle, of Philadelphia; Jairo Encarnación, of the Pirates; Edwin Henríquez, of the Royals; Francisco Peguero, of the Giants; Keyter Rodríguez, of the Athletic ones 1 and Eduardo Urbina, of the Nats 1.

On the other hand and for third consecutive season the son Félix Fermín y Luís will be united in the league Polania  but now they are not with the Indians, since Fermín Jr, was made free.

21-year-old Fermín, Girl played for the Indians of Boca Chica in the summers of 2004 and 2005, in 2006 he travelled to the League of the Gulf and was made free, signing later for the Nacionales-2.

 In five games, bat  of 18-8, for .444 of average to the bat, with two annotated ones, a double, a  RBI and four strike outs.

In his first three years of minor league bat  for .246, of 406-1000, with 56 annotated ones, twelve doubles, the triple one, 37 run base in, 61 strikeouts, in 137 games.

 At the time that Polania Jr, in two years  with the Indians of Boca Chica, hit of 338-79, for .234 of average, with 39 annotated ones, 14 doubles, six triple ones, 50 RBI 76 strikeouts, six thefts and in 107  games.

  In four games batea of 12-2, with the triple one, a remolcada, two punches and a base and .167 of average.
